01Introduction
QR & Barcode Toolkit ("the Application") is developed and published by RH Studio ("we", "us", "our", "the Developer"), based in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you download, install, and use the Application on the Android platform.
The Application is an offline utility tool for scanning and generating QR Codes and Barcodes. It does not require user registration, an account, a login, or a password, and it does not rely on cloud storage, a remote database, or a backend server to function.
By installing or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use the Application.
02How the Application Works
The Application is designed to operate primarily offline, and all of its core functionality is performed locally on your device:
- QR Code and Barcode scanning happens entirely on your device.
- QR Code generation happens entirely on your device.
- Saving a generated QR Code as a PNG image happens entirely on your device and the file remains on your device.
- Scan history is stored locally on your device.
- Favorite scans are stored locally on your device.
No scanned information is uploaded, no generated QR Codes are uploaded, no history is synchronized to any server, and no files are ever transferred to RH Studio. RH Studio does not operate a server that stores or processes user information generated by the Application.
The Application supports detection and display of the following content types encoded within scanned QR Codes and Barcodes: website URLs, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS messages, Wi-Fi credentials, geo-location data, contact (vCard) details, and calendar events. This detected content is displayed to you locally and is not transmitted anywhere by the Application.
The Application can generate QR Codes only. It does not generate Barcodes. It can scan both QR Codes and Barcodes.
03Permissions We Use
The Application requests a limited set of Android permissions, each used strictly for the purpose described below.
Camera
Used only to scan QR Codes and Barcodes, including operating the flashlight during scanning. The Application never records video, never captures or stores photographs, and camera data is never uploaded. Camera access is active only while the scanner screen is open.
Storage / Media Access
Used only when you choose to save a generated QR Code as a PNG image, or select an image for a supported feature. The Application never accesses unrelated files on your device and never uploads any file.
Internet
The Application itself does not browse the internet. This permission is required only to (1) display Google AdMob advertisements, and (2) open a scanned website URL in your default web browser, but only after you explicitly tap that link. Your device's browser handles all subsequent communication with that website.
04Google AdMob & Advertising
The Application displays advertisements using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To deliver and measure advertisements, Google AdMob may automatically collect limited, non-personal information, including but not limited to:
- Advertising ID
- Device information
- App interaction data
- Diagnostic information
- Approximate location, where applicable
- Ad performance data
RH Studio does not directly collect, store, access, sell, or share any advertising information gathered by Google AdMob. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy.

Where supported by your device, you may manage ad personalization preferences through your Google account settings.
05Data We Do Not Collect
RH Studio has no backend server and does not collect any of the following information through the Application:
RH Studio maintains no backend server capable of receiving, storing, or processing any of the categories listed above.
06Local Data Storage
- Scan history remains stored locally on your device.
- Favorite scans remain stored locally on your device.
- Generated PNG files remain stored locally on your device.
You may delete this locally stored information at any time from within the Application. Uninstalling the Application may also remove locally stored data, depending on your device's settings. None of this information is synchronized online or transmitted to RH Studio at any point.
07External Links
Some QR Codes you scan may contain links to third-party websites. The Application opens such links only after you explicitly choose to open them, using your device's default web browser.
External websites are operated by independent third parties. RH Studio has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, security, availability, or privacy practices of any third-party website. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external website before providing personal information to it.
08Children's Privacy
The Application is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. RH Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us using the details in the Contact Information section so that appropriate action can be taken.
09Data Security
Because the Application operates primarily offline, the information it generates — such as scan history, favorites, and saved PNG files — remains on your own device rather than on any external server. RH Studio follows reasonable practices intended to support the security of the Application.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and no system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to keep your Android device, operating system, and applications updated, and to use appropriate device-level security measures such as screen locks and encryption.
10Your Rights & Choices
Because the Application does not maintain accounts or a backend server, most privacy choices are already in your direct control on your device. You may at any time:
- Delete your scan history
- Delete your favorite scans
- Delete generated PNG files
- Revoke the Camera permission through Android system settings
- Uninstall the Application
- Stop using the Application at any time, without consequence
